The first thing you’ll notice when you log into Userback is that we’ve moved the main navigation menu. This change means we’re able to show you more of the feedback you’ve collected. It’s a bit of a no-brainer because we are a feedback tool after all! 😉
With the new menu, it’s also really easy to switch between your projects. We’ve even added project logos to help you quickly recognize the project you’re working with. You can add a logo in the project settings (more on that below).
Settings is now available on the main menu, bringing together all of your project settings like Widget and Integrations in one easy-to-find place.
We’ve also moved the Notifications page and made it easier for you to manage. Previously you needed to set notifications for each project which was time consuming when you have loads of projects. Now it’s much easier as you can manage notifications for all your projects in one place. To access notifications, simply click on your profile pic and select Notifications.
Account Settings also has a new home and can be found by clicking on your profile pic. The actual Account Settings are the same as before, except that People can now be found here as well. So if you ever need to invite teammates to Userback, just visit the People page in Account Settings.
Now that you’re familiar with the new UI, there’s a couple of exciting new features we’re just dying to introduce you to!
Board ViewOver the last few months, the ability to manage feedback in a “kanban” style board has been one of our most requested new features. So it gives us great pleasure to say that it’s now here! We call it Board View. 🎉
Board View is really cool. There’s lots of sorting options and it’s exceptionally easy to manage feedback across your workflows. Here’s a quick intro to what you can do.
One of the great things about Userback is how easy it is to have conversations with the people who give you feedback. But when you receive lots of feedback, it can be a little tricky to keep track of new comments. Not anymore though! With the new Inbox View, it’s easy to focus on new comments and to reply to reporters about their feedback. ✌️
Inbox View has been designed to look like… well an inbox. So hopefully it looks familiar and is easy for you to navigate. Here’s a quick intro of how it works.
We’ve also added a new widget setting to give you greater control over how you collect and manage feedback.
Widget StatusWith the new Widget Status, you can quickly hide the widget without removing the code from your website. Now it’s as simple as flicking a switch in your widget settings.
Last but not least, it’s now easier to interpret the feedback you receive in the Feedback Viewer.
If you’re not already aware, Console Logs are extremely useful for your developers as it helps them replicate issues and resolve bugs as fast as possible. With this latest update to Userback, we’re pleased to say that console logs are also captured when you receive video feedback.
Custom DataLast but not least, we’ve also given Custom Data it’s own space in the Feedback Viewer. Particularly for software teams, capturing custom data is a great way to give additional context to the feedback from your users.
We hope you love Userback’s new look and we’re really excited for you to check it out. Simply log into your account and if you have any questions just let us know.
